Which buyers guide?

I've done a lot of reading around on the 'net, etc but I want to buy a book for reference, I have seen two Peter Morgan ones, one called 924 & 944 buyers guide, or another called the ultimate guide to 924/944/928 iirc.

Any suggestions as to which book is best to go for, for info and buying advice/tech?

Hi Andrew,

To be honest I'd forget every buyers guide. I'm not aware of any that say anything except "fully galvanised shell so corrosion is a sign of poor accident repair", and we all know that this might have been true 20 years ago but read the last two pages of posts here for a reality check....[]

I'd suggest setting the forum to "display topics from last 365 days" and reading every one. You'll be so clued-up that you could consider "944" as your Mastermind specialist subject, be aware of the costs you will incur at some time, and make some good friends amongst the characters here.

924/944, and 924/944/968 are the same book I think, the latter being an update of the former. I have the latter, it's worth having. Personally I'd find a car I liked & pay for an inspection by a specialist. Bit more expensive than a book but more peace of mind when you part with your cash.

Thanks for that advice guys, I have read a lot of threads on this forum so know what to expect, but sometimes I like to have a book for reference - or just to look at the pictures!! ;)
