Which Gearbox? And do I have a limited slip diff?

Guys just looking @ the Vol2-transmission.pdf (the official Porsche Manual) and I am unable to tell which transmission would be mine (5spd Manual) - this is needed so I will be able to get the correct gear/ diff oil, am I correct in saying that the diff and gearbox are all in one and thus lubricated using the sump / well of oil? How can I determine easily if I would have this limited slip diff in my bog standard 88' 944 non turbo? I would worry my self stupid if I were to put the wrong oil in her . . . We are very much in love now most of the niggly jobs have been done and she doesn't leak . . .

Oh the 17mm is this standard allen key or those Hex head ones.

Will 2 x 1ltr's be enough?

Regards . . .

If its a 250 turbo it will have, if its not it might have. IIRC its option 220 (one of my favourites [:)] I am sad - well if I'm right I'm sad) so it would be shown on the option sticker in the boot / handbook. Alternatively with both rear wheels off the ground if you turn one with LSD the other will turn the same way without it will spin in the opposite direction.
17mm hex

edited to add:- undo the filler before the drain

I thought it was 220 also - easy to remember as it's the type of Turbo it was optional on...

If you have completely drained the gearbox you will ahve to buy 3 litres as, from memory, it takes 2.5 litres.

Guys I have checked and I have no 220 on my option sticker - safe to assume that the it has not got a LSD. How can I find out what the other options are?
