Hi John
Pat and I came on your 'fish and chip' run last year and enjoyed it, so can you please put us down to come this year as well.
Thanks
Alan & Pat Burton

Can any member let me know if they are interested in joining the run to Whitby on the 13th May

Will give details of the route over the moors after a trial run this weekend - will include a meeting point for those not wishing to drive to Malton.

Hi John, we had our meet last night at which point I was trying to get numbers for you but to no avail. Some (Alan and I of course) regulars expressed an interest, how accurate do you need to be with the numbers? I would estimate we should have four cars coming, maybe 6 people in total, let me know what else you need to know.

Cheers

Thanks Nick - only need to know definite numbers by the 8th May to let the Council know how many parking spaces and Trenchers for reserving sufficient space in the restaurant.

Hope the weather is as good as this weekend.

John

Regret have been absent from NE region meetings for a couple of months, so just to let you know my wife - Lesley - and I (both members of PCGB) intend to come for the Whitby run.

Look forward to seeing you and Lesley at our Whitby Run - arrange a meeting place on route i.e. Blakey if you don't want to go all the way to Malton. Fish and chips are booked at Trenchers for 2 p.m. and car parking allocated possibly on the Endeavour Wharf. Final details will be posted here by the 10th May.

Cheers

Finally decided on the route after a pleasant run out in the sun today - from Malton, take the Helmsley road to Amotherby across to Marton and Kirby Moorside where your region could meet up with us in the town centre near the George & Dragon before taking the road to Gillamoor, then up Farndale west to Low Mill and Church Houses before climbing up to Blakey. Castleton, Danby, Lealholm and then join the A171 to Whitby. Parking has been arranged hopefully on the Endeavour Wharf area before meeting up again at 2 p.m. for lunch at Trenchers.

If any of your members wish to come along please reply to the forum or telephone 01723 366925 before the 10th May.
