Hope you can join us on this run - had chance to finalise details after our trip to the frozen north - car disappeared in the snow (same colour). If you want to meet en route - will give details when I have worked out the most scenic for our members from Region 11.

John/Rita I will try and rally the troops and get a good attendance from R3, I should be able to make it, off that weekend[:D]

Surveyed new route yesterday and found a fantastic road from Rosedale Abbey to Lealholm - scenery incredible over the Esk Valley and Glaisdale - hope your members will join us on the 15th. Could not make the final 3 miles into Whitby for traffic queues but the minor roads were relatively quiet - not shown on most maps!

Route from Malton follows the Helmsley road as far as Nunnington turn off, then across to Wombleton, Kirby Moorside and up to Hutton le Hole, Blakey, Rosedale Abbey, Lealholm, Whitby.

You can join us anywhere on the route - it is hoped to leave Malton at 11 a.m. arriving in Whitby for lunch at 1 p.m.

Can anyone let me know if they are coming on Saturday - forecast for the weekend is good.

I have to let the Council have some idea of numbers for the car parking on Endeavour Wharf by Wednesday.

Will be there - at least I won't have to queue for 40 mins. without any progress and then go to Stratford on Avon instead!

Looking forward to it.
