White Boxsters?

Guest

New member
Hi guys, I'm new on here. Considering a second hand Boxster for my next car. Really like the thought of a white one with black rims but I'm struggling to find any out there to see if my vision would look that good in reality. Did they make them in white?

I love the look of this 911 - but can't afford that so thought maybe a similar look with a Boxster might be an option.

If anyone has got any photos of white Boxsters along those lines or get let me know why they're so hard to find in white that would be great.

Thanks!

If you look on Region 7 (Yorkshire) under Track Day Croft - you will see photos from this event - look for our white Boxster. If you send me your email address - I can send you more pictures (unable to put on forum)

This is our second white, a 986 then the new 987 in January 2005. Had no problem in selling the first privately - one advert in Top Marques. Plenty in Spain and Florida! Possibly only 4 or 5 here. It is a standard Porsche colour - Carrera White. Have seen a white Cayman which looks twice the size and very smart - as does the Carrera GT which was on sale at Suncoast Porsche, Fl some time ago.

Thanks for the picture John - looks gorgeous. I can't believe there's not more of them about.

I've managed to find a few for sale in this country - but they seem to be going fo £2-£3k over silver etc. I'm thinking possibly find a cheap CAT C and fixing up and respraying white.

Stop looking for a white one....[]

I want white...

you can have all the ones with black roofs...[;)]

Twice before when I have considered White my OPC advised me that at resale time I would be looking at £3-5K less than say a Silver or MetallicBlack equivalent car [&o] Fast forward 3 years and it would seem "White" is making a come back for the fist time since the 80's in the UK

There was a white 997 parked outside my office last week. It had a brown roof, what's all that about?[:'(]

Got to have blue interior and blue hood IMHO

Well it's like the blue roof but in a brown. [8D]

Orange ..not if you stay in the east end of Glasgow [:D][:D] ...White is a safer bet ,some years back there was a member who stayed in Ayrshire had one ,and Ian Skelly the car dealer also owned one and was later put up for sale.
