WHITE DIALS

Any idea what it would cost to switch my white dials to black dials? Also what's the verdict on white dials these days? I maybe tempted to change

Have white dials on my present 997TT, had them also on my previous 997 C4S. Persoanlly think they look great and love the contrast at night when they darken... But as they say all a matter of personal taste...

If one considers the cost of the white dials option when you spec a car, I think you may as well keep them as the cost to retro switch would be astronomical.

Be happy with what you have and think of something more practical to spend your money on !

fair enough comments. having borrowed a 997 from OPC recently that had black dials i rather fancied a change!

I see the cost of just the black dials is £250... plus any fitting expenses!
and thats aftermarket...

The white dials are fine by day, but are far too bright for driving at night. The available range for dimming ought to adjust progressively down to the off position.

I'm guessing white dials are also an extra when speccing the car from new?

They sure are; £392.00 to be precise.

That's what I paid in September 07 so they may well have been a price increase since then.
