white smoke

This has got to be one of the shortest posts on the forum - well, those with actual letters, anyway.

OOPS.!!!![:)] That got you wondering.............

Got frantic shout from the missus who thought baby was on its way...........!! False alarm though, still 3 weeks to go.
What i was going to write was that i was just checking the oil level yesterday and noticed that there was quite a few puffs of smoke from the exhaust while it was idling. Gave it a few revs from the throttle linkage and cleared when revved but came back straight away at idle. Not a blue oil smoke but white with no oily smell. Oil is fine, was changed just over 4k miles ago. When started later at about 9pm and bloody cold it was smoking again even more than earlier but dissapeared when revved.
Any ideas lads?? Bad sign??

Cheers,

Dave

Hi

Definately looks like smoke though could be water vapour, difficult to tell. By the way, anyone see this months "used car buyer magazine" with the ultimate 911 feature that i went along to. The 3.2 came out tops and the pictures make my car look rather nice and shiny..[:D]
