Hi Guys and Gals

Our activity seems to have been a little slow in the last few days, so I thought I'd throw this one in.

My name is Phil Mansfield
I am a sales manager for a motor leasing company and professional DJ in my spare time
I live in Leicester
I drive a '91 944 S2 Cabriolet in Guards Red which I have had now for 14 months

Hi I'm John and I'm a Porschahollic - oops, sorry wrong meeting[:D]

I'm a joinery problem solver - see http://www.2ta.co.uk - and father in my spare time (of which I have none)

I live in Essex with my wife Belinda and my son Peter.

We have a black 87 Turbo which we purchased about a year ago. Prior to that we had a 1980 944 Lux. We also have a Freelander, which has been chipped and had the brakes upgraded, a V8 90 Land Rover which has had everything upgraded and a Westfield which has been rebuilt, pulled appart and rebuilt so many times that little more than the headlamp shells are original. We hate cars! :ROFLMAO:

Hi there, I'm new to the club.

I'm Roger Mills and am a design devlopment engineer. I spend all my working day designign / developing products to make trucks engines (9l and above usually) better.

My car is a 92 model year (dec 91) 944 S2 in Cobalt Blue with dove grey leather.

It all started with a simple stereo upgrade and now it has something like 250BHP at the wheels thanks to my tame rollers man! Trust me you don't want it, it's evil. Taking it there tomorrow to loose some power and get some drivability back!!!! [:D]

now it has something like 250BHP at the wheels

Hi Roger, I'd be interested to hear what was done to reach that figure at the wheels. It has been said that an S2 will need fairly major work to get above 230-240 at the crank so short of a Supercharger your figure of 250 at the wheels is pretty damnned good [:D]

Start a new thread - S2 owners everywhere will be after your rollers man [8D]

I'm Fen Coull, I live in Devon with my wife but work in Bristol as an IT manager for a spirits and wine maker.

I don't need human children because I have a '92 J S2 Cab in Glacier blue with cobalt sports interior on 18" Cups and a '90 G Turbo with an engine in as many bits as it's possible to reduce it to but that has a few tweaks and made 'comfortably over 300bhp' according to Bob Watson before I holed the sump.

I have used both of the above as daily drivers but currently I have a '91 Golf GTI for that. I've been down the new car / diesel car / Jap 4x4 turbo nutter car roads and decided that I like what the Germans were doing in the early 90's best.

Phil

My name is Barrie Lever and I have owned my 944 lux since July 1999, I have a 924 Martini. I also own a Lancia Delta Integrale and some motorbikes (ducati, bultaco).

I run my own business manufacturing carbon fibre parts for superbikes.

Regards Barrie

Hi,

I'm Rich Savage, I work for Land Rover, Closures Test & Development.

I am currently running an original 88' silver rose, and planning on keeping her as standard as possible! Not sure how many of these are left I put a post up to see if anyone would reply no one did, I rekon this is a good sign if there arn't that many left!

Relax and enjoy the car Jules [8D] As long as you keep up the regular maintenance these cars are surprisingly reliable. Keep an eye on the wife, she'll be after one of her own if you are not careful [;)]
