Orange Boxsters

Tuesday 8th May 2007[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Limited edition Boxsters for the USA[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Plenty of orange paint on the Stuttgart shelves then...[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Porsche seems to be going orange crazy at the moment. After resurrecting the orange with black colour scheme for the GT3RS, and then flipping it somewhat dubiously for the Cayenne Transsyberia, it's now applied it to the Boxster. Five hundred of these limited edition Boxsters will go on sale in the USA. The cars (half of which will be the "˜S' model) are based on a design study shown during the New York Auto show earlier this year.

Each car is painted in GT3RS orange and gets the "˜SportDesign' body kit, black alloys and the factory sports exhaust. The interior is daubed in various places with orange and black and Alcantara is used on the seat inserts, the RS steering wheel and the hand brake lever.

No word yet on pricings, but we don't expect them to hang around long.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Falling US sales is why they get it. As sales are falling in UK now as well , I expect the future is orange for us too.
