Why does my Nav think I'm in Finland?

Hi all,
I doubt this is a new issue but being new to Porsche ownership thought I'd ask:
I have PCM2 with Nav and BOSE, clearly the tech is outdated (as the FM radio reception tells me regularly!!) but I did expect the Nav would at least be able to pin point me in sunny North Worcestershire and not snowy Finland - has anyone come across this problem and is there a fix or just another screen I ignore until Porsche decide to give us the PCCM upgrade our 996 colleagues benefit from??

Have you checked that it is set to "my location"? Assuming that it is, it is then worth checking that the GPS aerial is plugged in. You should be able to find that under the plastic cover above the battery area.

Good point - will see if I can see anything unplugged around the battery [8|], fingers crossed.
