the search facility does not seem to be working very well at the moment. It certainly doesn't search a single forum and is very sensitive to search word criteria . I suppose if I persevered long enough I might find something relevant
can anyone give me a link to the troubleshooting guide to non start problems please.

I have to agree with you. I have been looking for a few things yesterday and today and can't seem to find anything in the 944 forum!

Try putting in a time filter; I find it works much better if you restrict what to search for and how long to go back...

thanks guys.[;)]

hope we don't lose all the old threads it would be a great shame to lose all that historical information. Are all old threads backed up ?
Maybe we could ask for some volunteers to sort through and pick out the useful stuff which could be put into a technical help archive like Pelical or Clarkes ? I would be willing to help (anorak )[;)]

It's being looked at :

Not sure if there's anything that can be done (maybe the forum has too much data now), so try Kish's suggestion to time-bound searches. That normally works for me.

Don't forget the Search facility - it's there to help you!

Mark, your signature is a tad ironic.....[&:]

Hi All

I think that a main power cable was cut by a contractor working adjacent to Cornbury House, this may be causing the problem.

The telephones are not being answered at CH this may be the same problem[>:]

Have fun
