I actually like it. I have often thought what a previous model Boxster would be like with a facelift 996 front on it. Just a shame it hasn't got the GT3 engine in it.

I was down PH Sportscars in Shardlow near Derby today (for an MOT which the old girl passed with flying colours!) and saw a speed yellow Boxster S with GT3 Mk 1 front PU, side skirts, wheels (in gloss black) and front and rear brakes. Must say it did look very very nice. I'm no fan of speed yellow but I'd certainly be tempted. I't looked nice and agressive. I'd challenge anyone to accuse it of being a hairdressers car!
