Call Gordon Hayward at Hayward & Scott as he did this conversion on his 3.2 Supersport Cabrio 01268-727256
I am sure he will advise you of the pro's and con's [;)]

Blimey thats going back about 9 years. It wasn't that bad a fit but all those years ago we were one of the first if not the first to do the conversion so we had no one to ask.I know you can buy kits to do the conversions now to make life easier.
I think from what we get in the workshop that things have moved on a bit and now and you find that the 993 engine is more a common conversion.
You are more than welcome to ring and have a chat.01268 727256.

Richard, is yours the one that ws featured in 911 & PW a few years ago? I very much enjoyed that article.

Hi there

Yes it was! Good memory! I said in the article that I was going to supercharge it at some point and Phil Raby called me a bit of a mentalist.

I've now done just that - and still with the 915 'box. The look on 996 owners' faces as they see a humble 911SC pulling away from them!!! Priceless!
