Hi there, I'm new to the forum so bear with me a little please.

I have a leaking fuel tank and would like to fit a later tank. I understand the later 944 and 968 tanks are plastic. Is it possible to fit one of these later tanks to a 924 Turbo and if so what would it involve?

You can fit a plastic tank, but its not a straightforward swap. Its been years since Ive had anything to do with a swap, so Id advise you to ask on the 944 forum, where someone will have done it more recently.

my 924s has got a 968 tank...

...but then again its also got a 968 G/box so i'm not sure if the 'shape' will fit over a 924box

I Think it fits, but the main problem is else where........ you have to remove the exaust and all the stuff on the way.... really painfull, a friend did it and I remember it simply because the language he used when changing it can not be published ![:)]
