Will a PCM 2.1 disk work on an MY05 997?

I note that on a previous post you say that the upgrade using the CD's is free at any OPC... I shall make enquiries tomorrow, but should anybody be aware of the location of a free copy [] feel free to let me know about it!

Dave, You have mail.
You say "discs" plural. The mapping etc. upgrade is only 1 DVD. Maybe you have the CD's as well?

It is not possible to upgrade directly from 2004 to 2007 without firstly upgrading to one of the interim versions
I have also backed up the disks to my PC, and having looked at the file names & sizes (I'm not technical), can only assume that there are updates to most of the files in each revision
