hi there can you please help me i have the chance to get some red calipers and disc's off a 2003 boxster s will they fit on my 996 c2 2001. i only ask as i need disc's anyway .are they better than my black calipers or are they the same but red?thankyou for any help.cheers

The Boxster S calipers all have 996 part numbers, but they aren't the same numbers as the C4S/Turbo big reds. I have a feeling that you are correct, and they might be the standard 996 calipers in red. The front Boxster S discs are the same part number as the standard 996 discs, but the rear discs have a 986 number. I seem to recall that they aren't cross-drilled. HTH
