will these wheels fit

Please can anyone tell me if these alloys will fit. I have a 98 model and have the standard boxster wheels.
i have just purchased a set of 17" 996 bbs 10 spokes.
The wheels have 7-55 stamped on the fronts and 8-50 on the rears, but the new ones have 7-50 on the fronts and 8.5-50 on the rears and i was told the tyres on the old ones will go straight on the new ones, all are 17" rims.
regards dawson.

They will all fit OK but you will need 5mm spacers on the fronts to maintain the track and avoid rubbing on full lock.

Check this link for help on wheel offsets: http://marksink.com/tire_wheel_offset/offset.html

Good luck and dont forget if you use spacers you will need longer bolts to go with them. They are all available from your local OPC, or if you want to pay less inflated prices from Jasmine or Design911.

you might need spacers for the fronts - offsets on the front axle of facelift cars were either 50 or 52mm (at least in 18" sizes), so try them first.
