Lol, so the advantage it gave isn't why they banned it in F1 ? I'm guessing you've never braked on a diesel spill one dark wet night...

Actually, I have...well not in the dark but yes have encountered diesel, both in the car and on the bike(not a nice experience) .....ABS will help an inexperienced driver but it still won't stop you if you're driving too close to the car in front. Best to try and drive around if space allows than braking, assuming you've seen the signs of diesel in time.....I did get out of the car once having stopped on diesel, wet road too...I could hardly stand....best install some sort of gyro on my body...blade7 said:PSH said:none of that ABS crap....drive by the seat of your pants....far more fun and makes one a better driver too.....if the ABS comes on.....you've not braking properly and thus taking longer to stop....IMHO of course...

I need new disc's and pads and dust shields anyway.
Come on nerds and experts! Lol
I prefer non Abs cars as well... ABS didn't save me on many occasions (my daily S2 has Abs) and I prefer the feel of the car on tight corners without.

You have exactly the same calipers on your car now, they are not from a 944 Turbo.
I hope you didn't buy these? the shocks look rough.
Just buy new discs and pads for your car, or even refurbished Calipers if they are also seized, leaking etc...
