T200

New member
While taking the wind deflector out for cleaning and getting access to the rear screen I have broke one of the clips on the deflector can these clips be replaced or will I have to buy a new deflector

Thanks

Chris

Bad luck. [] The good news is they are replaceable. Available at your local Porsche Parts counter for a reasonable price.

If it is part number 9865617380001C 117664 znso 0001868 I have one you can have for free not sure what hand it is as the 987 is a different clip shape so cannot check

Thanks for the offer Brian, but like you say I think your clip will be the wrong shape. I have ordered a set from Glasgow but the guy seems to think they are rivited on. Can you or anyone else confirm this? Chris

This is a plastic clip and there is no way it is riveted in looks like its secured into a hole ,if you can send me a email contact I can photo it and send them, no idea how to do it on the forum always comes up image to big

My 987 was purchased without a wind deflector, I purchased the perspex screen from Porsche-Apart at Bury, The fitting clips were purchased from Porsche Leeds, parts numbers P987.561.901.01 (£30.36 + vat) & P987.561.821.00 (£1.80 + vat) Very easy to fit, remove roll bar trim carefully, I used a large screwdriver with lots of masking tape wrapped around the end to prise the trim off, the clips are pop-rivited into pre-drilled holes, replace the trim, it took me about 45 mins to fit the whole thing, everything you need is in the fitting kit Hope this is useful Tommo

Tommo, Thanks for the info it's the clip on the plastic screen thats broken the retainer on the roll bar is fine Just been out to the garage screwdriver in hand and managed to remove the offending clip so will have to wait till porsche have the part. Thanks fr all the help Gentlemen

Got your email Brian and replied it looks like the right one from your pictures but can tell which hand it will be Thanks Chris
