Wind deflector help....cant seem to fit them!!

Hi Would love some advice, have recently bought a Porsche Boxter s 2004 plate. There were no seat/wind deflectors so I bought some on ebay, got them today but I cant seem to fit them! Dont want to over force them....is there a specific way they sould go in, should I force them...or are they simply not designed for the car!
Here's a pic so youve got a rough idea.
Would be great for some advice!

They look the same as the ones I have on my 986. It does take a little bit of force to get them in - don't want them falling out at speed!
