Hi

Anyone know how to activate the window winder mechanism with the remote? On my first Boxster 05 (987) I just held the unlock/lock to activate. On my 08 car it doesn't work!

Many thanks

Jase.

2000, I remember the feature working on my old 3 series, but doesn't seem to work on the Box.

Mark, your reply prompted me to have another go, guess what..........it works. I can't have held the button pressed for long enough or not pointed it proerly. Just think I might never have known, a feature not used so much this time of year but in the summer its very usefull, thanks again.

I have a 2001 'X' Boxster S. I guess it is a 2000MY car, however, this thread prompted me to have a go and it works......another feature...this car just keeps giving! ;0)

It's a standard feature on 986's, but programmable (by dealers) on 987s. Seems a bit daft really - they got it right on the 986, and when they made it more complicated on the 987 they had troubles. Remember the problems on early 987s where the windows opened by themselves? One of Porsche's "fixes" was to disable the remote window operation.
