Ok 3.2ers
Medium hysteria, both windows stopped working, mine just of closed, the passenger side just of fully open.
Checked fuse blown.replaced still nothing! removed n/s door card and found 2 wires not on switch, still nothing.Need to at least get n/s window up before driving to Silverstone on Saturday.
Any ideas would be really really really great.

Paul,
Sorry to hear this - my passenger window is a bit reluctant at times, but I can eventually get it moving after which it is fine for a while. All I do is fiddle the switch a bit!

If you can't fix the fault, there is an emergency manual back-up detailed in your handbook on page 21, Basically, you remove on of the speaker trims then crank the window with the hand crank found in your tool kit.

Hi Chris
I don't have the handbook, I had the door card of Saturday [4hrs] did not see any orifice
to gain access to the motor or gearbox.

Cheers Chris
windows up with Heath Robertson tool,if anyone has the real tool that they don't want and will be at Silverstone I would be pleased to buy it.
Paul

Paul - grateful if you could pass anything you find on - my passenger window quit (UP, luckily !) on the way to Silverstone Saturday.
Driver side OK (same fuse for both sides?). Haven't had a chance to investigate yet, but it doesn't work from either switch so sounds like a motor problem.
Thanks,
Geoff
