Window frame adjustment?

Does anyone know the procedure for adjusting the window frame on my rivers side door (lhd)?
When driving at about 100 leptons the door frame moves outwards just a little at the top corner which results in wind noise (the door, not me [&o]).

I'll be taking a look at it on the weekend and will have a go at trying to adjust it (trial and error) but wondered if anyone had any experience?

It may be that your door seals are past their sell by date? As the seals get older they shrink, fit less well and allow air to push the frame outwards. Replacing the seals is not too difficult. The other quick fix is to open the door and then lean on the frame to bend it in slightly, not the ideal solution but it seems to do the trick, at least for a while (the opening and closing of the door will gradually push it back to it's old position). You might also want to look at the position of the door catch, slight movement of this might also do the trick.

Good luck.

Cheers Damen,

I've loosened the two allen head bolts behind the plastic cover on the side of the door then moved the frame inwards slightly to close against the seal.

I'll need to take the car for a test drive at speed on the weekend to see if it's fixed. [:)][:)]
