Window switches?

Anyone have any ideas of best places to get replacement window switches as all of mine have now died on me? Debating whether to spend out on second hand ones or whether to go for new items if they are available at a sensible price?

Call Exeter for a price on new ones before weighing up the "used, and as such might break next week" option against the "new, and will outlive the car" option.

I guess it's down to how much you'll use them? I'm happy to get a used mirror
switch as it is a once-a year chance that I'll need to move the mirrors and I'd guess that most will have been largely unused, but the window switches will have been worn out on most 944s by now.

Europarts are cheap £11...Although I bought two from Ebay for £3.50 including Postage!...

LOL, just looked and they list them at £22.66 plus VAT. And I'd like to say that my guess was educated.......[&:][&:]

I bought one and it was £11! From europarts and only a few weeks ago!....
just checked ..£11.32

Second hand switches will be like yours.

By one, take it apart....then buy another one because you have just found out the hard way how they work[;)]

Take that one apart, dress the very slightly pitted or black contacts and spray with switch cleaner/lube (not WD40)

Put back together and swap with a faulty one, do this 3 times and once more for the spare (you might need it in 4 or 5 years.)

Spend the £20 (or is it £50) on cold beer.

or give me the beer and I will do it for you[:)]
