I’ve been meaning to ask this question for years and now it’s dark again I shall, should the electric window switches in the centre console light up ? Mine don’t and never had, I know they are there but when it’s dark and you have headlamps on I would have assumed they would light up.

I rely on good old muscle memory to find my window switches in the dark. My left hand goes right to the button. Probably comes from 60 years of driving experience.

When I started driving back in the 1950s cars didn't have as many buttons and switches, and the few they had weren't just non-illuminated, they were also non-labeled. Ahh, the good old bad old days.

Sorry to bump this one back up, but I remember reading it and thinking that mine do... I have an 04 plate C2 and the window switches gently glow orange when the lights are on. I'll endeavour to take a pic next time.
