Windscreen chip repair

Have always used Autoglass, however repairs are not always 'free'....
£10 excess.....

However, I remember talking to the AA at Silverstone Classic & I was unaware that they had their own windscreen fitting service, so may be worth a call!!

Ideally want to stay away from Autoglass and big outfits. They have a reputation for wanting to fit new windscreens and then do it badly. My usual chip guy is on holiday. Like to use a local one man outfit, they tend to be better with no BS but you do have to pay for it.

Duncan at Autobody Windscreens is a top bloke.

Highly recommended. I get him to cover stuff for me when it gets too oop north for me to travel!

Thanks. I will remember for next time. The guy I used last time was brilliant but out of the country. Chap I used was a bit slack and it isn't brilliant. Wouldn't get OPC to do it as they us the same people.

Still my fault for not fixing sooner and it passed the MOT.
