Hi all,

1 Can anyone recomend a windscreen replacement company who will install a new screen properly?

2 Can anyone recomend a dent man, I have a small dent on my O/S front wing caused by someone banging their door against it.

All in the Harlow/Broxbourne area if possible

There's a guy on Pistonheads who replaces screens for a living. He's very well recommended. Do a search in their POrsche section.

There is a very good bodywork guy who has a workshop on a farm between Sawbridgeworth and Allens Green. I don't know his surname, only as 'Paul' and his phone number is 07762 576339

He did a good job on a dent on my Boxster and often has vintage/exotic cars in his workshop.

Do you live in the Harlow area Porka?

I need to replace mine too, But the thought if it terrifies me.
I used to work next door to an Autoglass "Shocking"
NO WAY.

Should be cleaning them with a squeegee at the traffic lights rather than fitting them.

I had my windscreen changed by Autoglass. I wanted my OPC to do it but my insurance company didn't agree because of the cost.

Two weeks after it was fitted, it slipped down leaving a gap at the top and was replaced. After that there was a terrible 'creaking noise' and water was leaking in. I took the car to my OPC who said that the screen had not been fitted correctly.

Finally, I managed to arrange that a new screen was fitted by Autoglass and supervised at my OPC. It took three screens to get it right!
