WINDSCREEN WASHER JET REMOVAL?

I'm getting ready to change the bonnet, and I have to remove the washer jets. So what's the correct way to push the jets out, without damaging them? Thanks.

The front of the washer jet (the narrower part furthest away from the windscreen has a plastic bow shaped "springy" latch underneath the bonnet.
You have to push this back with a blunt edge towards the windscreen& lift the jet moulding from the front part upwards away from the bonnet.
It will help if you warm the this section under the bonnet with a heat gun or hairdryer 1st.
Good luck??

Thanks, worked it out after I'd posted. Had to cut the heater wires though, as I couldn't remove the pins from the connector.

Oh dear.... you can pick up a set of those pin extractors dirt cheap from ebay / amazon.

The muppets who worked on my 944 before I recovered it cut the washer jet wires and mirror wires instead of taking them apart. Nearly caused a fire with the washer jets as they come on with the ignition, cable melted and I had to replace part of the loom, so be careful!

Will do. Don't think I've ever used the car in freezing weather, so may just leave them unplugged.

Last time I replaced a washer jet ,I just crimped new bullet connectors /sockets onto the wires-there was plenty of spare wire to allow this.
