Windscreen washers

Our 8 year old VW Polo has screen washers which direct a fine spray of water onto the windscreen rather than jets of water as supplied by the 993 washers. I find the spray is far more effective as it covers a larger area of the screen.

Has anyone found an alternative screen washer nozzle for the 993? I'm not sure if later cars such as the Boxter or 996 have better alternatives which would fit.
