Having said that - can anyone explain why the blades wipe right to left leaving a large corner of the screen on the drivers side uncleared? I assumed it was because Porsche had just been lazy with the RHD cards, but I gather on the LHD version the blades swing the opposite way. Seems to be somewhat stupid!! Is there any way to change them round?

To find out why, try a stint as a passenger in light rain.
Each time the screen is swept, the area in front of the passenger has water pushed to the bottom of the screen by the blades. When the blades move away and park, that water rises in trails. It' s infuriating! (But we love them anyway). In a more modern car, the blades park along the length of the scuttle and prevent this effect. On our 964s, only the driver benefits from the parked blades.

As stated previously, for once with the Porsche - less is more.

I subsequently bought a set of the cheapest Halfords blades possible and gave the ends a ' bit of a tweak' - hey presto, perfect.
Hi Rob, What do you mean by a bit of a tweak? I tried bending my existing blades without success.

The improvement over the bosch blades was very noticable.
