wing mirror "wobble"

Hi... a minor irritation on my car... the passer wing mirror "wobbles" a little when the car is travelling at speed (UK motorway kinds of speed!).... i think this may be because the glass is loose in the casing...

If that's the case, is there any way of tightening this up, to stop this wobble?

If the glass, rather than the frame, is wobbling there are two possible causes. The wheel that attaches the mirror to the motor--accessed through the small hole underneath the mirror casing--you will need to rotate this with a small screwdriver---fiddly but achievable. Or possible the scews that attach the mirror motor to the mirror frame---again these can be accessed by removing the miror glass, as described above.

Thanks for that... the actual mirror was a bit loose... I have followed your instructions, and it now seems much tighter!... thanks again!
