Wing motor in trouble?

I am getting a creaking noise from my wing as it goes up and down. The noise is from the RHS. Is it the motor on teh way out or is it something else.

Simon, by wing I took it to mean rear spoiler?

It may just be a case of lubrication, use a light lithium grease on the cable.

Have you checked the rubberised spoiler curtain isn't split or damaged as this can make a noise rubbing as it moves.

Or just fit an RSR fixed rear spoiler, no more problem!

Simon,

If you are sure that the creaking is coming from the RHS it can only be the pivot points or, as Paul said, the blind causing the noise. The motor and the whole raising/lowering mechanism is on the LHS (under the moulded cover). It might be worth putting some lithium grease on the pivot points and see if that helps.
