If I ever post on here again about winter projects please someone shoot me before I think its a good idea, decided now on a policy of "if it ain't broke..."
Anyway I have now completed the following:
Replaced dizzy caps & rotors, cannot believe the condition of the original units - well corroded!
Removed knackered engine sound deadening - engine bay looks great
Replaced spark plugs - again original ones we past their best
Removed engine heater assembly - in preparation for bypass tube
Replaced majority of tinware
Mechanic is helping with the valve clearance and I am fitting a new windscreen as this one is cracked.
Hopefully I can get the engine & gearbox back in the car over the next 2 weeks and then the final bit job is to replace the orignal springs and dampers with the KW Clubsport or Variant 3 setup and get JZM to fit and set the car up in preparation for Spa & Ring.
Oh yes, nearly forgot give it a good clean and fit some graphics of some sort seeing as everyone else is []
