Winter Storage

Looking for advice. I have a 1997 993 C4S and would like some advice on storing during winter months. Unfortunately I do not have a garage, but rather a large car port. My 993 does have an all weather custom made car cover. Looking for advice primarily on tire pressure, and if I should start the car weekly, or just take the battery out for the winter and leave the car sit. If I were to start the car how long should I leave it running? I can't drive it since I cancelled the registration for the winter.
