Winter Wheels and Tyres

If you are considering winter wheels and tyres, now is the ideal time to have them fitted as the cold and wet months continue and freezing temperatures are predicted to spread across the country.

Porsche "˜N' rated winter tyres dramatically improve performance and safety in the wet and in temperatures below 7°C.

Porsche Centres currently stock winter wheels with prices starting from £2,400 incl. VAT and fitting for 997, dependent on your model and it's worth negotiating a discount with the Parts Manager too.

Also, whilst your summer wheels and tyres are off the road, your PC can securely store them for you over the winter - normally at no extra cost.

For more information or to place an order, contact your Porsche Centre.

You can discover more by watching the winter tyres video and for prices for your particular model see the winter wheels and tyres brochure.

Regards,

Clive.

My Cayenne ones are on already, 458 though is tucked up on summer ones til the sun comes out again!

Have had summer/winter tyres for a couple of years. Had the summer tyres changed at the end of October and found out the free storage is no longer free at the PC in Reading (£299 + vat and stored off site by a third party due to I was told insurance cover issues). If anyone is having a different service from PC's anywhere I would be interested to know.

Swindon OPC do not store. Our BMW has winter tyres, but apart from expense in purchase and swopping over, it is rather a faff. Moreover, sods law is that one puts on the winter tyres then the weather warms up! My solution? Fit all weather; a compromise, but a good one.

Up until today I thought winter tyres were a waste of money, having fitted this morning to my E92 I have to say the car handles much better on the country icy roads. I plan to store the summer wheels on a tyre rack in my garage as bmw don't offer a free storage facility. I would recommend winter tyres for if like me live in a rural area which never gets gritted

I love these wheels:

But the nearest to then in the Winter Catalouge seems to be on page 12 and are the 20" Carrera S wheel....... Does anyone know if you can / or allowed to fit a 20" wheel to a 2006 C4S with 19" sport wheels currently on? obviously would need a speedometer adjustment...... or are the ones pictured stil lavailable from the OPC?
