911 targa

The winds back, the rain wet and the temperature dropping is your prescious in bed or has it maned up like a real PORSCHE

Bed, but it will get up if it dries up. The temperatures are still quite high so a long way off gritting. Would like to get some more miles in this year if I can.

Hi All
I spent Wednesday jet washing my 911. Gave her a thorough wash including removing the wheels to deep clean the wheelarches. The car is now ready to use during the winter if the need requires. Having cleared all the dirt from the arches there is less areas where salt and grit can accumulate. It also gave me the chance to identify the small jobs that need doing during winter.
While it was up in the air I found the near side out driveshaft boot had split. I will get this done at the earlest opportunity.
Keep using your cars.

Surely on a day like today you've got to get out? Just had a good thrash up to Milton Keynes from south of aylesbury and not long before the return leg and a few more round-abouts...

I reckon keep driving until the salting starts then time out for any repairs/works.

By the way, has anyone fitted a Steve Wong type ecu chip? Been thinking a few more bhp wouldn't hurt....

Happy driving.

Yes I have fitted SW chip, good upgrade made a surprising difference.
If you go to the Impact Bumper forum or Pelican there's several write ups on his chips

Bed but pokes its nose out from under the cover when the roads are dry and salt free, like last Friday afternoon. Likes the exercise.
