Hello all! My latest niggle is an intermittent wiper fault. My wipers will switch on and off ok, but once going and switched off sometimes won't switch back on again. there's no logical sequence to get them to pack in, or to get them going again. sometimes turning the ignition off and then back on again gets them going again. sometimes it doesn't. they can always be switched on a few times (i think) when the car is first started.
Does this sound relay-ish? I have no idea what would happen if a relay started packing in. Also, where on the car can i look for wiper connections / earths to check? I've got the Haynes manual and other bits n bobs but can never exactly work out where all the connections are.
This fault has nearly killed me a few times. So any help for a slightly incompetent d.i.y.'er gratefully accepted [
