There's no number stamped into the new one, it was just on the bag. I didn't see a number on the old one either, I'll have a better look though. I'm thinking there's a change over at some point but I've only got a parts catalogue which covers the earlier cars. Is nothing ever simple?! It's a sod cos it's an hour to my nearest OPC (leeds) so I pay postage on everything.ORIGINAL: mik_ok Doesn't sound right - when I replaced my drivers side on the S2 the part looked the same (it was certainly the same length). Is the old one stamped with the same number?
Had a look tonight at what's involved in fitting it and it's shorter than the original by about 2 inches. [
Is this correct (ie an update or alternative part) and all I need to do it move the wiper round on it's spindle after fitting or do I have the wrong part? My car is an S2 if it makes a difference.
