wiper probs

Hi guys, out of the blue my wipers would not work in the intermittant position. I also noticed the self parking function also does not work. Is this the contact inside the motor and if so how difficult is it to get at ? My car is a 1990 S2 cab.

Hi,
I seem to remember my 924 had the same symptoms and it was the intermittent wipe relay that had failed. Not sure if this would be right for a late model 944 though, as the 924 just had a 3 position slow / fast / intermittent and didn't have the thumbwheel for adjusting the intermittent speed. If you can find someone to let you try their relay you'll know! (I think it's relay 10 in the main fuse box)

Hi Seve, thanks for your thoughts. I now think like yourself, so tomorrow my Indy will lend me a wiper relay to try todetermine the cause. I will post the answer when we are sure.
