My MOT is approaching . What are the options to replace/ refurbish these if they are an issue?
Replacements from Porsche seem to be about £760 aside (including Vat)

I've used a Hamburg Technic ball joint kit on the OS side of mine, £50 from ECP. Been good for 3/4 years now except the boot did need done again.

My NS one is still original and going strong on a lowered 168k mile car.

Hartech used to do core exchange with a bonded in replacement ball joint and new bushes, not sure if they still do but they are still listed on their website.

I have two Hartech arms on my Turbo, can't remember when I put them on but must be over 10 years ago and they are still good.

My car passed the MOT yesterday with 2 advisories

1) Ball joint has slight play on front nearside lower suspension

2) Undertray missing some bolts on near side

I did make an om-line enquiry to Hartech about wishbones but got no response

I have the later 968 arms on my car and AFAIK they’re not rebuildable, I have a spare set though (and you’ve just reminded me they’re still at my Indy’s as they were fitting some poly bushes in them)!

I had mine rebuilt some years ago using a kit from America. They had an extended pin to assist in resetting the geometry when using lowered springs.

They were held together with a circlip and failed at a Bedford track day.

I had a garage clearout last weekend and found a pair of serviceable wishbones that I bought from a breaker a few years ago (in the end I bought a pair of Hartech rebuilt wishbones). Make me an offer? Otherwise they are going on eBay.
