Judging by the weather forecast for tomorrow, it looks like I'll be taking the Freelander as that field gets 'orribly muddy when it rains. Getting out onto Ducklington Road could be fun in the Boxster if it's wet []

As it happens there was a really good turnout by car clubs, sponsors and exhibitors alike. And, in spite of a gloomy weather forecast, the sun shone and the rain held off.
Alan. Where you there last year? I was and 2010 and 2009 and if you recollect the 2008 event was cancelled. I have been a regular attender since the 1990's.
Last year I was reduced to asking people , total strangers, who happened to be driving a Porsche to park it on our stand. The same happened in 2010.
If we were notified in time it would go into Porsche Post. That means by last week in May (1st June deadline) for the July edition which comes out in last week of June.

I have been most years since 2003 but was away on business last year so couldn't make it. As you rightly say the 2008 event was cancelled because the field was waterlogged after heavy rainfall a few days before but I think this is the only time in recent years when the event hasn't gone ahead.
