Won't idle when cold?!?

I completed the following work last week...

Cam belt
Balance belt
Both aux belts
New fuel rail
Cleaned and re-reasled injectors
Removed and cleaned inlet manifold
Same with throttle body
Cleaned idv
New vacume lines
New plugs
Oil and filter
Air filter
New dme water temp sensor

Put it all back together and ran fine for a day, now it won't idle at all when cold? Could it really be the brand new dme temp sensor? I did buy it last year and had it kept into garage for a few months? What she could cause so idle when cold? When it's warm runs and idles fine?

Many thanks in advance!!

I would go for check vacum lines just to make sure they are all in the right place and that none are hanging off. Then check connections on IVC and if not then remove ICV and check that cleaning hasn't affected it and then refit it. If that doesn't work then go and look at the temp sensor etc,

Also I see the following on Pelican Parts forums ...

"" The cold idle bypass valve may me dirty and stuck. It's a timed heated bi-metallic spring device. Closes off the valve as it heats up. Takes about two minutes.

It's under the intake manifold. There is one on all of the 944's. The early 944's have the heated element bi-metallic type, later 944's have a motorized three wire servo type and the 944S's have a voice coil spring centering type. All can be crudded up from blow back from the oil filler engine galley vent.

On the early 944's the power that goes to the fuel pump also goes to the ICV. If there is a short in the wires to or at the ICV then the fuel pump fuse will blow. In the later 944's the O2 sensor pre-heating element gets it's power from the fuel pump fuse. If there is a short in the wiring to the pre-heater the fuse will blow.""

Hope this helps...

Thanks for the replies.. I'm not convinced it's the icv because even if I set the throttle position screw in so the icv isn't activated it still won't idle. Think I will probably have a good look at my pipes and hoses.. Iv never heard of the cold idle control valve before?!? Any idea what one looks like!!

Cheers!!
