As Souhport is only across the Mersey from you I thought this might be of interest. It is the largest Classic Car Rally in the North of England and well worth a visit.

Arrangements are progressing well with around 50 cars booked.

For those of you attending the arrangements are as follows:

WOODVALE RALLY 2006

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Tickets are valid both Saturday and Sunday but Sunday is the main PCGB and other classic car club day

Sunday 6th August: Meeting place for convoy drive to RAF Woodvale is The Foxcub Pub, Much Hoole roundabout, A565, between Preston and Tarleton. We will leave there at 8.30am sharp. Heading from Preston on dual carriageway, at Much Hoole roundabout, double back to the right and pub is visible. For those of you arriving here I will have entry tickets available.

We need to be on site by 9.30am latest to allow plenty of time to arrange parking, before the organisers start judging from 10.00am. Any cars arriving after 9.30am will not be able to be accommodated on the display and will have to use the public car park

Tickets are valid for both Saturday and Sunday, with Sunday being the main PCGB Day. Anyone wishing to attend Saturday, please contact me and I will make arrangements. We will be assembling the marquee on Saturday from 7.30am.

Parking: We have 50 cars attending and want to put on an impressive display. Cars will be arranged by model, with some degree of colour coding. Please assist the members arranging parking to help achieve this.

Corporate Image: This year we are hoping to achieve a corporate image for the display. To help achieve this, if possible please wear a Porsche shirt, preferably in White.

Please bring chairs and foldaway tables.

Morning coffee, "˜Jacobs Join' Buffet lunch and afternoon tea will be laid out in the marquee.
