Just had my C4's 24,000 mile service at OPC Reading which included the 111 point check for the 50 quid and there was nothing wrong with my car (now the hinge is fixed!) and as a result I now have the Porsche extended warranty. Totally painless, let's hope I don't need till the day before I can't renew it :)

Mind you a the 4 liter Autofarm conversion did sound tempting :)

PS: TVR charge over 1200 for their warranty!

I heard they are going to increase the price of extended warranty from £725 to £800 soon; has this happen as yet?

Best thing you could have done Stuart.....the peace of mind and the fact that Porsche Assist is included, makes it worth every penny IMO.

It's quite a strange feeling really.....you drive around, you notice something is amiss, and you get annoyed, but then you start to smile, knowing it'll be free to fix*

*Unless it's the coolant, fuel return sender, battery, wheel bearings etc etc ........................DOH![:D]

Maserati are charging £1,500 for their warranty. The good news is that they fix anything without quibble. The bad news is that there's a lot to go wrong....
