Workshop manual 993

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a workshop manual for a 993 in either electronic or hard copy form ?

I know the club has them available for viewing in Gloucestershire, but driving all the way out there just to have a browse seems a rather primitive approach in this day and age. How about the Club makes them available to its members for viewing over the internet ? Surely this would not be too revolutionary ?

On the contrary, I just checked out the website and find it fascinating to see all this behind the scenes stuff.

At first glance, the prices do make your eyes water, but compared to what you might save in labour charges by going down the DIY route, there is a chance it could actually pay for itself.

No surprise then, that according to paragraph 2.3 of the 'Algemeinegeschäftsbedingungenfürinternetlieferungvonserviceinformationen' rule [;)], this information is not available for purchase by consumers; it is only intended for those in the trade :

§ 2 Enterprises Entitled to the Supply of Information (Customers)

2.1 Entitled to the supply of information shall be exclusively enterprises which pursuant to the list published by Porsche on its Web site are involved directly or indirectly in the repair and maintenance of Porsche production vehicles as independent market partners as defined in Art. 4 para. 2 subpara. 4 of the COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No. 1400/2002 of 31 July 2002 on the application of Art. 81 para. 3 of the Treaty to groups of vertical agreements and concerted practices in the motor vehicle sector.
2.2 The Customer warrants that it is an enterprise entitled to the supply of information. The Customer shall inform Porsche without delay when it ceases to be an enterprise entitled to the supply of information.
2.3 Other enterprises or consumers shall be excluded from access. []
