Worn clutch

My clutch is in excellent shape mechanically but the linings are worn. Porsche say the clutch plate can not be relined. Has anyone successfully had a clutch relined? Has anyone dealt with ClutchFix

For the amount of work involved in removing the clutch and refitting it, compared to the potential cost saving by relining, I'd rather know that it was all new and wouldn't need to come apart again for a very long time.

I will concur with the advice given above... new is the only option in my book.

Not sure how it can be in excellent shape mechanically and worn? Assuming its a turbo (from your username), If you put a refinished one in and a spring breaks in a years time - its got to all come apart again! I guess if you are DIYing it and have plenty of time to do it again you could take the gamble.

There is no way I would spend 10-12 hours (and that’s if you have done it before) to put back all the old stuff, except for a friction plate.

just really false economy

the fly wheel could be scored if the plate is that worn,
