We've had a post of the best mods for a 944 and I have a couple of suggestions for mods that perhaps aren't so clever so I thought I'd post a thread about them to see where it goes. Here's 2 to start: Paddle clutch - far too much for the road and judders like a juddery thing in a freezer968 sill trims - NOT worth the flippin' effort. Have you seen a 968 without them? Nothing like a 944 at all This post may have been prompted by me struggling to fit said sill trims to my car now and being a bit hacked off with the process

Well if you give up a 968 owner might want them they seem to distort with age []
Back on topic, I am bored with the little lights I have illuminating my centre console switches and they are failing, I think its time for a MK11 solution. (once I have fitted my clear rear lenses and my flaming eye kit and my kitchen)

Tony gets the award in my book. Who ever heard of fitting a kitchen in a 944? - would be quite popular for this weekend though. []

Unusually for you Fen, you appear to have fogotten the pictures.[]ORIGINAL: Fen
I'm going full-blown track slag on the skirts hence they now have multiple holes in them, filled with externally visible stainless fatsteners
That's because I've only just finished fitting the ****** things and it's now dark. I'm also unsure about the results of the project. It's certainly track slag... I'm sure there will be pics from the weekend as it's on the register stand the whole time (and you will get to see it for yourself) - unless Nick takes one look at it and banishes it to the campsite, something that is entirely possible. The trouble is that the skirts don't actually fit. Anyone contemplating the same mod: don't. You even have to cut the botttom corners off your front wings [] (and mine were solid and perfect - sorry all those of you with crunchy wing bottoms...) Or did you mean pics of the clutch? I'm sure I have some somewhere...

I've just had mine modified.
Muppet at local tyre company dropped the car onto a trolley jack and modified the front wing for me.[][]
