Well whilst over in Milton Keynes way with work I thought it was only polite to go and have a little look at the Wortec exhaust.

Andy at Promax had arranged to get Andrew S's car to the workshop for me to have a play in.

All I can say is I want one now [:D]. The quality was fab and really liked the fit of the tail pipe into the rear of the car. Would have to have the electronic switching, it was just so James Bond. Very neat set up with an old OEM wiper switch in the centre console. Click one way quiet, almost like normal with a deeper sound, click the other 5 secs and WOW sounded much more aggresive and purposefull. Enough to scare the kids at the side of the road, but sounded right!!! Makes the car sound as it should really.

The only down side to the test drive was that Andy had let me have a go in Andrews car which has KW, (Andys has M030 like mine) think he did that on purpose[;)]

That felt unbelievable. Taughter, stiffer, no body roll, but compliant and smooth.

Where are the Visa Police!!!!!!!!

Maybe have a look at it all again in the new year when my 911 itch has slowed up, as the exhaust definately gives the car a little more soul in the sound sense that it currently lacks.

Now I really didn't want to hear that - I had convinced myself that KWs weren't really worth all that money!

Buying the KW's isn't the end of the spending though, I was tempted but didn't fancy re-indexing the torsion bars, 1- because I'm getting lazy and 2- because I'm too tight to pay someone else to do it. [:D].

The KW,s are well worth the money, BUT the exhaust.. Im not too sure..
Its a lot of money for a "trick" valve + a different noise....[8|][8|][8|]

Yeah the Wortec system is rather splendid, I love mine and it sounds great - And its a full 3" system so does offer the chance of extra BHP and not just a change in volume [:D]

Have avoided driving a KW equipped car as have convinced myself that my cars suspension is just fine (seems pretty good to me) and don't want that confidence undermined !

If you fit KW`s then forget the exhaust and spend your hard earned on Weltmeister ARB`s to do the KW`s full justice.

KW,all the reccomends for this kit are so right ,it is just brilliant[8D]

The KWs are totally worth the money and possibly the best thing I have purchased for the car I don't regret it.

*sticks his fingers in his ears* Not listening, not listening ! [:D][;)]
