14th to [/b]17th September 2007

We are planning a 4 day (3 nights) long weekend to the Scottish Highlands, with the accommodation at a loch side hotel. The cost is just £99 per person for the weekend on a bed & breakfast basis.
The proposed itinerary is:

Friday 14th
Rendezvous 12.00pm to 13.00pm at Southwaite Services M6 northbound for lunch then proceed on to The Portsonachan Hotel, Argyll, settle into rooms then meet in the hotel bar for pre dinner drinks at 7pm. Dinner will be about £25 for 3 courses.

Saturday 15th
Free day "" visit a local distillery, try your hand at Trout fishing, visit the hydroelectric plant, have a round of golf, partake in some retail therapy or any of the other local attractions.

Nightcaps & Extra ordinary tales in the Hotel Bar.

Sunday 16th
Drive out to explore the stunning scenery, about 100 miles with a lunch stop & finish back at The Hotel, settle into rooms & meet in the hotel bar for pre dinner drinks at 7pm. Dinner will again be about £25 for 3 courses.

Monday 17th
Free day to explore further & take a leisurely drive home.

Some Questions answered:

Child Costs.
Age 0 - 5 years FOC
Age 5 - 14 years £10 per night
Age 15+ full adult rate (£99 for the 3 nights)

Single Rooms.
Twin rooms are available for single occupancy at no extra cost.

Dietry Requirements.
Vegetarian options will be available at all organised meals.

We also have a Couple from Cheshire Trevor & Debbie & a new member from West Mids. Colin.
