Seconded,

A fantastic weekend, thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done Graham and Moira superb organisation with a fantastic venue and route. I hope our new members enjoyed the experience and the company. Enjoyed my little challenge with that Bentley GT on the way home[;)]

See you all on Wednesday night.

Our sentiments exactly. Thanks Graham & Moira for a great weekend. Fantastic venue made even better by great company. Some enjoyable driving roads, even the detours! Our car is clean (ish) once again & we're off for an early night. Getting up at 6.30am to watch Vettel win the championship maybe wasn't such a good idea!
Ash, hope you put that Bentley in his place after the manoeuvres he was pulling past us!
See you all on Wednesday night
Greg & Deb

Just to add our thanks to Graham and Moira for organising the weekend too, we all had a great time.

As an aside, do blue air cooled 911s melt in the rain? [:D]

A big thank you from us too. Really enjoyed the weekend and Floors castle was well worth the visit.

Nice to be able to put faces to email addresses!

Lets not wait too long before the next one.

Simon, I think if you refer to the F U Handbook, you will find in part 9-11, page 3, section 4, paragraph 2, subsection 17 and in brackets and I quote "Award winning Blue 911 3.2 Carreras may only be used in the rain at the owners discretion as it is unwise to do so." Please note it also clearly states "if dirt is added it can also be very very dangerous." (for the run organiser)
However Pink 911 Targas are excluded from all of the above, although sub section 18 clearly states that they must have the largest possible mobile phone fitted regardless of cost and depreciation. This includes a warning that it may impede the use of other electrical equipment within the vehicle such as satelite navigation systems as it will be such a drain on every bit of power your vehicle can produce.
It also clearly states that a Citreon would be a suitable alternative to use as they require no cleaning or maintenance, and can be driven by partners if required.
Also page 5 clearly states that any 911 Turbo drivers must uphold the honour of the badge and under no circumstance allow Bentley GT Turbos past.
I am afraid I only have a copy of the updated F U handbook which I manged to get my hands on and it appears at first glance that parts 9-24 9-44 9-68 are missing - must be a printing error. Can anyone with the old version starting at section 3-5-6 let me have a copy please.:ROFLMAO:
Great weekend, thanks.

Hi Greg I will have to do something about that power drain I keep on getting lost with my sat nav due to it loosing power, Moira's no help pointing out Jays, pheasants, and the like when she should be reading the directions to the route I think I may have a copy of the F U Handbook but I will have to get a translator first due to the fact you live over other side of the river, that's the Tees not the Tyne[8|] See you Wednesday bring your stab vest as well as the hat[:D]

Stab vest Graham? May have to bring a Tiger Tank instead of the Porsche.
P.S just remembered got a lot on Wednesday, think I may have to give it a miss.[;)]

Great weekend - thanks to all who did the organising (especially the nice quiz !) We needed the umbrella walking round the grounds of Floors Castle !
Is anyone posting some of the photos - we forgot to take the camera !

I'm 180 miles away, so now that I have lit the blue touch paper I'm already a safe distance away, I know these air cooled types can be a bit touchy at times.
Thank you for the useful and informative quotes from the F U Handbook [:D]

Big thanks to all who organised the weekend, despite the weather we had a really good time and a good laugh on Saturday night. We've nearly got the car clean now ............... just the flipping wipers to fix!!!

See you all Wednesday night
